Hands-on Class

Move over gas grill! Looking for a unique pizza-eating experience that's perfect for outdoor entertaining? We're excited for this class with John Chico to explore another exciting way to cook outdoors. Portable outdoor ovens are perfect for pizza as well as many other foods that you can prepare while you soak in the outdoors on your deck, patio, or even a picnic table! Pizzas also cook in as little as 60 seconds in some outdoor ovens, so you can have pizza at-the-ready for all of your party guests! In this hands-on class we'll make pizza dough, shape it, and have fun making pizzas to-order! This menu will include wine and beer.

Creative Green Bowls

With the warm (hot) summer months are ahead, this class will help you keep your cool with light and fresh meal ideas for the entire family. Join John Chico for great flavor combinations, ingredients, and sauce suggestions for making one-bowl meals. With a blend of satisfying grains, fresh veggies, and healthy proteins, this is a great way to maintain a healthy eating plan while indulging on the flavors you love. You'll learn to mix and match tastes, textures, and colors that follow a regional theme, and how to create your own favorites. You'll enjoy tonight's combos with this menu: Mediterranean Bowl with Tahini Dressing, Summer Garden Bowl with Garlic-Basil Vinaigrette, and Thai Salad Bowl with Peanut Dressing. This menu will be paired with wine.

A Wine & Food Event with Steve Rogstad of Napa Valley's Cuvaison Winery

Let's Do Lunch! Garden Party

With the first day of summer just a few days away, this lunch class will put us in good spirits for the bountiful farm-to-table season ahead. Join Chef Carrie and Peggy for this hour-long, first-lunch-of-summer kick off for the season! You'll enjoy a three-course meal while we demonstrate the recipes. We'll do our best to get you out in an hour, and you'll take home the recipes. Coffee and water will be available. We'll have perfectly paired wines available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Today's menu includes: Roasted and Marinated Veggies With Strawberries, Ricotta, and Pistachios, Chicken With Herb-Roasted Tomato Sauce, Corn Griddle Cakes, and Blueberry Tart with Lemon Curd.

A Night Out With Mary & George

Join Mary Cooney and George Punter in welcoming the most relaxing season of the year with this class featuring the best-of-summer food and wine! We'll open the class with a cool glass of wine paired perfectly with Garlic Shrimp enveloped in creamy Avocado Sauce, and follow with a crispy Romaine Salad dressed in a fresh Herb Dressing and local Tomatoes. We’ll grill juicy New York Strip steaks to perfection, and top grilled Corn on the Cob with a tangy sauce, cheese crumbles, and a sprinkle of freshly chopped cilantro. Mary’s decadent dessert takes the flavors of the classic Éclair and make them into a luscious cake. George will pair each course with wine.

Teen Cooking Camp: Baking and Pastry

After attending this weeklong baking camp, you’ll want to shelf that box mix. Students will learn skills and techniques for making incredible homemade desserts from scratch. Each day we’ll delve into new topics such as Italian Ciambella Cake, French Chocolate Mousse, and All-Butter Pie Crust to fill with juicy Apple Filling, to name a few. Mary Cooney is passionate about baking and creating delicious confections for family and friends, and she’ll inspire you to do the same. This week may be the sweetest you’ve ever experienced!

Night Out with Chef Carrie and Teresa Kearney, CSW

We've revamped our popular Girls' Night Out theme—everyone is invited to join the party! Grab a friend and enjoy a fun evening in celebration of the long-awaited summer season with terrific food and wine. Chef Carrie has another fantastic menu planned, and Teresa Kearney, CSW, will choose wines to complement each dish. We'll start with a Local Greens Salad with Roasted Shallot Vinaigrette, Fruit, and Nuts, and follow with decadent French Onion Macaroni and Cheese. Grilled Steak will be topped with bold, briney Tapenade and Fresh Horseradish for an added flavor bomb. Dessert with be a bit fancy and fun, Strawberry Moscato Torte!

Miami Nights

The always-entertaining Susie and Iván Núñez are cooking up another fun evening of great food and drink. Tonight's class will be a celebration of vibrant Cuban cuisine. We'll start with a popular sandwich named for Cuban socialite Elena Ruz Valdés-Fauli that's loved for its gratifying savory-sweet flavor combination, and serve it with a tasty Black Bean Salad. Ropa Vieja, a popular Cuban dish with stewed tender skirt steak cooked in tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic, and wine, wouldn’t be complete without Cuban-style Rice and Fried Ripe Plantains. Dessert is Guava and Cream Pastries. This menu will be paired with wine and beer.

The bright, acidic flavor of lemon is key in so many sweet and savory dishes. It’s why Mary Cooney chose a menu showcasing this essential fruit. We’ll add lemon zest to creamy homemade Ricotta, spread it on crispy Crostini toasts, and top it with bright and salty Castelvetrano Olives and Fresh Tomato. Lemon Pasta Carbonara and Blistered Broccoli With Lemon and Parmesan will complement Roasted Prosciutto-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin With Rosemary and Parmesan Pan Sauce. Dessert is a decadent Parfait with Lemony Mascarpone and Blueberry Compote. This menu will be paired with wine.
