Join Harriet Argue for a fun evening of appetizers prepared in iconic Greek Taverna-style. Tavernas are local establishments located in city neighborhoods, larger towns, and villages throughout Greece, and are often the hub for local gatherings involving music and dancing. Menus are often limited and consist of what is currently available, along with alcoholic beverages, such as local wine. Come enjoy this delicious array of mezes served with wine.

About Harriet Argue

Harriet Argue was the owner of Truffles Café and Catering. She was also involved in menu development and catering at Madison's Bistro and Mediterra. We welcome her back to Dorothy Lane's Culinary Center to share her expertise with Greek Cuisine. Moving here from Los Angeles from a large Greek family, she started a California Deli Café. Her restaurants were known for their quality food, and innovative menus. Harriet was in the catering and restaurant business for over 30 years. She has taught cooking classes in the Dayton area for many years.
