Bittermilk No. 5 Charred Grapefruit Tonic with Bulls Bay Sea Salt is not your typical tonic. The No.5 combines lime and lemon juice with cinchonabark, the source of quinine for tonic. The fresh grapefruit skins are charred to help bring out the bitter yet refreshing notes. Just a bit of local BullsBay Saltworks sea salt helps pull the savory caramel notes and balance out the flavors. It works well with any light spirit such as vodka or gin. We suggest pouring equal parts No. 5, vodka and soda water over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a lime wedge. This is a 2017 sofi Award winner for Best Cold Beverage/Cocktail Mixer.
