About Megan Thompson

Megan is an accomplished cheesemonger and cheesemaker with over six years of hands-on experience and a lifelong connection to food. This foundation shaped her deep appreciation for fresh ingredients, thoughtful technique, and the joy of gathering around the table. The day after graduating high school, Megan began her career as the youngest cheesemonger in the Specialty Cheese Department at Dorothy Lane Market, where she has continued to grow her craft ever since. Through years of daily customer interaction, continued learning, and hands-on cheesemaking, she has developed both deep product knowledge and an intuitive ability to connect people with flavors they love.
