1
package of DLM Smash-Ready Burgers, 4, 4-oz balls
Salt and pepper to taste
4
slices of American cheese
1Tbsp
mayo
1Tbsp
ketchup
1Tbsp
mustard
1Tbsp
pickle relish
4
DLM Golden Classic Hamburger Buns
12
pickle chips
INSTRUCTIONS
1
Heat a 12-inch cast-iron skillet or griddle pan over medium-high heat. Divide onion into 4 small piles on the pan or griddle with plenty of space between.
2
Top each with a 4-oz DLM Smash-Ready Burger ball, then firmly smash each one with a metal spatula or burger press until about 1/4-inch thick. Let cook for about 2 minutes until nicely browned and crusty on the bottom.
3
Flip the burger and top with the cheese; cook for about 2 minutes for medium-rare to medium burgers or 3 minutes for medium to medium-well.
4
While burgers are cooking, make our version of "special sauce" by mixing the mayo, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish in a small bowl. Spread on cut sides of each hamburger bun.
5
Place cooked burger on bun and top with pickles. Enjoy!
