INGREDIENTS

For the Sandwich

  • 2 slices of DLM Classic 10-Grain Bread
  • 3 slices of DLM Uncured Bacon
  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp chipotle mayonnaise (see recipe for instructions or try Sir Kensington's Chipotle Mayonnaise)
  • local tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 leaves of Romaine lettuce
  • Sprouts for garnish, if desired

For the Mayonnaise

  • 3 Tbsp Hellmann's Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

To make the chipotle mayonnaise, mix 3 tablespoons Hellmann's Mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon of sauce from a can of Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce. Or, try Sir Kensington's Chipotle Mayonnaise.

Toast bread. Spread 1 tablespoon of chipotle mayo on one side of each slice. Place sliced avocado on one side of bread and top with bacon. Then layer on the sliced tomato, sprouts (if using), and lettuce. Close the sandwich and enjoy!
