Irish Stout Shake

Guinness Stout and chocolate were meant to be blended together. Their flavors complement one another in this recipe to create something magical. 


  • 3 Tbsp Guinness Stout
  • ¼ cup good quality chocolate syrup or hot fudge
  • 1 pt DLM Madagascar Vanilla Gelato
  • cup milk
  • 4 chocolate-covered pretzel sticks


In a small saucepan, heat the stout and chocolate syrup together over low heat until well combined. Remove from heat and let cool.
In a blender, blend the ice cream, milk, and chocolate sauce until just blended. If desired, add a little chopped chocolate-covered pretzels and blend briefly again.
Pour in a glass and serve garnished with chopped chocolate-covered pretzels or a whole pretzel stick.
