INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz soft goat cheese
  • 16 California Dates, pitted
  • 16 large basil leaves
  • 4 wide, thin slices Prosciutto di Parma, cut into 4 long strips
  • 16 toothpicks, soaked 10 minutes in water

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat broiler to low.

Spoon 1-2 teaspoons of goat cheese into each date. Wrap with basil leaf, then prosciutto strip.

Broil until cheese bubbles, about 3 minutes. Serve warm. Secure with toothpick if desired.
