Caterpillar Kebabs

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large bag of medium or large green grapes (72+ grapes)
  • 12 bamboo skewers
  • 1 container white cake frosting
  • 24 mini chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash and dry grapes completely. (It's best to wash them a few hours in advance or the night before so there is no moisture on the grapes.)

Gently place 6-8 grapes in a row, lengthwise, on each bamboo skewer. Lay each skewer flat on a plate or baking sheet so they are horizontal.

Using a small knife or toothpick, add a small amount of white cake frosting to the back of each mini chocolate chip and place them on the top center of the first grape on each skewer to make the face. Do not use decorator gels or tube icings to attach the eyes as they will not stick correctly.

Store in a horizontal position in the refrigerator to set.
