DLM Vera Jane’s extra-virgin olive oil comes from groves near Lucignano, with the peppery finish Tuscan oils are known for.
Aged at least two years and sourced from a Modena-area farm our team has visited in person.
Bronze die cut Rustichella spaghetti, Ritrovo Sugo sauce, hand-peeled tomatoes, and Carnaroli rice for risotto.
Our team has spent years traveling Italy’s farms, dairies, and olive groves, and this gift box brings home the foods we fell in love with along the way. We’ve walked the hills outside Modena where our Parmigiano-Reggiano is made, met the cows whose milk makes it, and watched the wheels age for at least 24 months. Our own Vera Jane’s Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, named for longtime DLM matriarch Vera Mayne, comes from groves near the medieval Tuscan town of Lucignano.

Carnaroli Rice: Serving: For classic risotto, toast the rice briefly in olive oil or butter, then add warm broth one ladle at a time, stirring often, for about 18 minutes, until creamy and tender with a slight bite. Finish off the heat with butter and freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Parmigiano-Reggano Cheese: Let it sit at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes before serving to bring out its nutty, crystalline character. Break it into rustic chunks with a short, pointed Parmigiano knife, or grate it fresh over pasta and risotto. Save the rind to simmer in soups and sauces for extra depth.
DLM Vera Jane's Olive Oil: Drizzle over finished pasta, risotto, grilled vegetables, or warm crusty bread, or pour a small dish for dipping with a pinch of sea salt.
Unpack your gift right away and refrigerate the Parmigiano-Reggiano. All other items are shelf-stable until opened.
