Lace up your sneakers and dash for donuts at the finish line for a phenomenal cause—proceeds from the DLM Good Neighbor 5K benefit area food banks. Plus, this year’s race, taking place on Sunday, Aug. 12, will fall 70 years from the day DLM opened doors as a fruit stand at the corner of Far Hills Ave. and Dorothy Lane in 1948. Our annual 5K event is a family-friendly race that routes through the neighborhoods near DLM Washington Square, drawing in runners and walkers of all ages. DLM partners with Up and Running, a locally owned running and walking specialty store, to host the DLM Good Neighbor 5K. Strollers and dogs permitted. We’ll have a donut waiting for you at the finish line!
Race starts at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, August 12. On-site registration/packet pick-up begins at 7 a.m. 5K begins at DLM Washington Square (6177 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio). Pre-race packet pickup at Up and Running, 6123 Far Hills Ave. on Aug. 11, 3-5 p.m.
