Both professionally and personally, Carin Solganik has spent a lifetime pursuing her two passions: food and travel. With over 40 years experience in the food industry including hotels, restaurants, bars, catering, and the last 20 years in supermarket food service, Carin's broad base of experience provided her with in-depth insight into the food world in the US and internationally. Traveling the world either as a consultant or for pleasure, her trips always included discovering the food of the regions. All of this has led her to today and her continued pursuit of delicious, healthy, sustainable, and socially responsible food, which is the foundation of her food philosophy: Seek out the best quality ingredients available and do the least to them.
