Sip on coffee, juice or a mimosa while you explore cake decorating and edible artistry in this fun, hands-on workshop. With expert guidance by DLM's own pastry artists Stephanie Carraher and Camille Westerkamp, you'll treat your cake as a blank canvas as you personalize it with painting and piping seasonal or themed designs. No experience needed, just a playful spirit and a love for sweets and creativity.
Each student will decorate their own cake for two and then take it home. All tools and materials are provided. Come ready to sip, create, and celebrate your inner artist! Light snacks, coffee and a mimosa included.

Decorating a Gingerbread House during the holiday season is a beloved, traditional family pastime. What child, or child at heart, hasn't dreamed of decorating a gingerbread house this festive time of year? You'll be welcomed with the smell of gingerbread, the Culinary Center elves, plus Stephanie Carraher and Camille Westerkamp from Love Cakes by DLM for a fun and creative morning learning the step-by-step process for decorating your very own gingerbread house. All icings and candies for decoration will be provided, but feel free to bring some of your own to personalize your house. Culinary Center Class Cancellation & Registration Policy
Culinary Center class registrations may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund, with proper notification. Cancellations made with notification after the 7-day deadline are eligible for credit toward future culinary class registrations if notification is given prior to the day of a class. If you are unable to attend any class, you are welcome to send a substitute in your place. To give proper notifications for a cancellation or notice of a substitution, please contact the culinary center location where your class is taking place. Any no-call, no-show participants forfeit refunds or class credits. The DLM Culinary Center reserves the right to cancel a class, when necessary, due to inclement weather, emergencies, or insufficient enrollment, and may also substitute instructors or food items when required. In the event that a class is cancelled, registered students will receive a full refund or credit, as applicable.
