Hands-On Class

We're excited to welcome cake decorator Amelia Collins from Love Cakes by Dorothy Lane Market to teach a class for us crafting our own Cake Pops. Valentine's day is a great excuse for making special confections for our family and friends and Amelia will give you ideas for how to make it extra special! We'll have charcuterie and wine for your snacking enjoyment and you'll take home cake pops to share!

About Amelia Collins

Amelia Collins is a full time decorator and a part time baker, who loves to create items for others. She first started her journey by watching many decorating tutorials and decided to test her skills, and soon after quickly fell in love with the decorating aspect! Amelia is a cake decorator at Love Cakes by Dorothy Lane, where her abilities grow each day. Although her main passion is cookies, she has a large variety of items to choose from, and four of those items can be found at our local Dorothy Lane Market! All but two of her creations are made from scratch in her kitchen. The two that she doesn't personally make come from Dorothy Lane Market, where the cake is baked fresh daily. She uses only the best ingredients to ensure you are receiving a high end product that you will surely love. If you would like to see an ingredient list for her products you can contact me. Culinary Center Class Cancellation & Registration Policy

Culinary Center class registrations may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund, with proper notification. Cancellations made with notification after the 7-day deadline are eligible for credit toward future culinary class registrations if notification is given prior to the day of a class. If you are unable to attend any class, you are welcome to send a substitute in your place. To give proper notifications for a cancellation or notice of a substitution, please contact the culinary center location where your class is taking place. Any no-call, no-show participants forfeit refunds or class credits. The DLM Culinary Center reserves the right to cancel a class, when necessary, due to inclement weather, emergencies, or insufficient enrollment, and may also substitute instructors or food items when required. In the event that a class is cancelled, registered students will receive a full refund or credit, as applicable.
