INGREDIENTS

For the Sandwich

  • 3 slices of DLM Uncured Bacon
  • 2 slices of DLM Artisan Farmhouse Bread
  • 3 slices of local tomatoes, roasted
  • handful of arugula
  • 2 Tbsp pesto mayonnaise
  • fresh basil leaves for garnish, if desired

For the Pesto Mayonnaise

  • 3 Tbsp Hellmann's Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp pesto

INSTRUCTIONS

To make the pesto mayonnaise, mix together 3 tablespoons Hellmann's Mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon of pesto until fully dispersed.

Toast bread. Spread 1 tablespoon of Pesto Mayo on one side of each slice. Place roasted or ripe tomatoes on one side of bread and top with bacon, arugula, and fresh basil if desired. Close the sandwich and enjoy!
