Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries with Yogurt Maple Filling
1 16-oz package strawberries, de-stemmed
1 8-oz package 1/3 Fat Free Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese, at room temperature
1/3 cup plain Total 2% Fage Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup DLM 100% Pure Maple Syrup
1 tsp Nielsen-Massey Pure Vanilla Extract
1 package Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate Morsels
Clean strawberries, pat dry, and make a small hole in the center of each strawberry for filling. Set aside.
Place room temperature cream cheese in a small bowl; add yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla; blend thoroughly. Place in resealable storage bag, forcing the mixture in one corner. Snip a tiny edge off the corner and fill each strawberry with the cream cheese mixture and chill in refrigerator.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler, or microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring frequently. DO NOT OVERHEAT or chocolate will harden. Dip strawberries completely into melted chocolate or just the tip.
Place strawberries back in the refrigerator to solidify.
