Ready your cutting board and sharpen your chef's knife to chop along with Chef Carrie. Consistent cutting techniques not only enhance visual appeal, but ensure your food is cooked to a uniform degree of doneness. Carrie will teach you a variety of basic and advanced techniques. You'll learn to hold your knife correctly for executing various knife cuts and shapes, from the julienne to the brunoise. Lastly, you'll learn how to select, wield, sharpen, and store knives. By the end of this class, you'll look forward to your next mise en place.
