Chef Liz's love of her Italian heritage and cooking is rooted in the food of her mother, her aunts, and one of her earliest mentors, Joyce Goldstein. This is food that feeds her passion for sharing with friends and family, and is evidenced in one of our favorite restaurants, Wheat Penny. In this class you'll enjoy a selection of Italian Tapas, reflecting the variety and creativity of small plate dining. The Italian version of tapas, known as cicchetti, in Venice, stuzzichini, in Southern Italy, and antipasti, to many Italian Americans, are great for passing around over a few glasses of vino. Liz loves Chef Goldstein's quote: "Spanish tapas have gotten all the press, but the Italians were doing it first." Join us for this fun evening of wine and food made with amore!
