  • Jack Gridley is a familiar, friendly face behind the meat counter. Jack has been a member of the DLM family for over 30 years. With a strong passion for great quality food, Jack has spearheaded many of our creative initiatives during his years at DLM. An avid outdoorsman, Jack enjoys hunting and fishing. He has traveled extensively – out West, where he has spent numerous weeks in a saddle on working cattle ranches; up north to Alaska, where he has worked on boats alongside salmon fishermen; and overseas to Italy, which is one of his very favorite parts of the world. Jack’s mission at DLM is to “help our customers be knowledgeable and successful in preparing products by offering the best quality natural meat and seafood available to our customers”.

Wick’s Rabbit Ranch

Don Wick from Bradford raises New Zealand black and whites that provide us with rabbit jerky, snack sticks, and bratwurst.

Brock Masterson’s Dust

Locally made in Dayton by Executive Chef Rick Schaefer of Oakwood and sold in our Meat departments. Each variety begins with the same mouth-watering spices and flavors and then the chef adds one special spice to each one for a truly unique flavor. The Beef contains garlic; Poultry contains cardamom; Pork has sage added; and the Seafood Dust contains dill. All of these are gluten free and are great on potatoes, fries, grilled vegetables, and more.

These turkeys are raised especially for DLM by Bowman & Landes Farm in New Carlisle. Guaranteed to be free roaming; raised without antibiotics, hormones, or growth stimulants; and vegetarian fed—with no animal by-products.

We source local cattle which consume a grass-fed diet.
