Honestly BetterŪ Callipo Tuna
Callipo has been canning tuna for more than 90 years in Calabria, Italy. They use yellowfin tuna exclusively, with only the finest whole cuts of fillets hand-packed into jars. Once olive oil is added to the jar, it is allowed to mature for months so that the tuna will mature and emit all its fragrance when eaten. Callipo is also an environmentally friendly company, as it only buys from fishing boats which adhere to the programs of "Dolphin Safe", in which fishermen use procedures to avoid causing the death of dolphins. Enjoy this wonderful tuna as a special Lenten meal. 7-oz jar • $2.00 off with Club DLM card through March 6.

Ubriaco
This fragrant, delectable cheese starts life as a fruity, semi-soft cheese from Friuli. Then, it is coated with a blend of Merlot and Cabernet wine must and aged for a period of three months. Ubriaco, well-known as the first cheese to undergo this particular aging process, is amazing since it is like having your wine and cheese all in one bite! We recommend drinking red wine with it; better still, a Merlot or Cabernet. $16.99 lb • save $2.00 lb with Club DLM card through Tuesday, February 27.

More Than a Penny - Hot Cross Buns
"Hot cross buns! Hot cross buns! One a penny, two a penny. Hot cross buns! If ye have no daughters, Give them to your sons. One a penny, two a penny. Hot cross buns!
- English nursery rhyme
Hot Cross Buns are small sweet yeast buns with raisins or candied fruit, marked on top with a cross of white confectioners' glaze, and traditionally served in England on Good Friday. The English tradition of serving small sweet cakes on Good Friday dates back to the 16th or 17th century, and the cross on top (originally just marked with a knife) dates to the early 18th century. Our Bakery will be making these Honestly Better™ Hot Cross Buns during all of Lent. Enjoy them while you can!

DLM is Proactive in Peanut Butter Recall
Did you know that we could track those who purchased Peter Pan Peanut Butter through our loyalty card program? During the recall of the peanut butter, DLM associates called 326 customers who had bought jars during the recall period from May 2006 to the present. A letter was sent to those who could not be reached, informing them to dispose of the product and return the lid to the store for a full refund. Later that same week we identified 53 customers who had purchased the recalled Oscar Mayer/Louis Rich Chicken Breast Strips with a "use by date" of April 19, 2007. Within hours all of these people had been contacted as well. This is just one more reason why it is a good habit to use your Club DLM card for every purchase!
