Here at Dorothy Lane Market we pride ourselves in the fine quality wines that our shops procure and maintain in stock. Our Washington Square Wine Shop is among the biggest in Dayton and, together, all three shops offer an amazing array of wines. Our goal is to have the wines that fill our customers' needs, whether it is the current wine craze, a classic vintage, or that hard-to-find favorite.

We find our favorite part of the business is in making personal contact with high-quality wine estates and their winemakers, both in the U.S. and abroad, and bringing those experiences here to you at Dorothy Lane Market. There is staff available in all three wine shops seven days a week to help you with any question or request you have. We also have a temperature-controlled wine cellar at each store that has an excellent selection of hard-to-find premium wines from France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, and the United States — with some vintages going back to the late 1800s!

Our wine department publishes a monthly wine newsletter called Decantings which can be picked up in the stores or mailed to your home. All three locations also offer weekly Wine Tastings for a nominal charge. It's a perfect way to explore those unknown varietals you have always wanted to try! The tastings are on Saturdays from 12-5pm at Washington Square and Springboro and from 1-6pm at Oakwood. Washington Square also has tastings on Thursdays from 5-8pm, Oakwood on Fridays from 5-8pm, and Springboro on Fridays from 12-7pm. From wine chillers (with the rubber duckie) to knowledgeable staff, the DLM wine shops are on a pursuit of good wine, beer, and food... and to share that with you.
