|1 lb DLM Natural Beef Ground Chuck|
|1/4 lb DLM Italian Sausage, optional|
|1 small onion, finely chopped|
|2 tsp garlic, finely chopped|
|1 egg, slightly beaten|
|1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese|
|3 Tbsp Italian flat-leaf parsley, chopped|
|3/4 cup fine, dry, bread crumbs|
|1 tsp salt|
|Freshly ground pepper|
Combine above ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly, but gently, by hand or with a wooden spoon.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a cookie sheet (with sides) with non-stick cooking spray. Gently shape meat mixture into balls (about 12), and arrange in the prepared pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until the internal temperature is 160°F.
The meatballs can also be fried.
