Seahawks Salmon Chili

1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped green pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
(3) 14.5-oz cans diced tomatoes
1 cup dry red wine (optional)
(Add extra tomatoes if wine is not used)
1/4 cup DLM Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
(1) 19-oz can kidney beans
1¼ lbs poached salmon, flaked

Combine all ingredients except beans and salmon. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, covered, for one hour. Add beans, including liquid, and cook one hour uncovered. Stir in salmon. Serve with favorite toppings, including chopped green onions, shredded cheese, and sour cream. Makes 8 servings
