Tea-Spiced Apples

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup apple cider
2 bags chai spice tea
4 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp honey

Combine water and apple cider in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add the two tea bags, and allow them to steep for about 5 minutes.

Remove the tea bags; add the chopped apples and vanilla extract. Bring the mixture to a simmer and add honey.

Continue cooking until apples are tender.

Serve alone, with vanilla ice cream, or topped with whipped cream.
