Mushroom Burgers

1 lb DLM Natural Beef Ground Chuck
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
1½ cups finely chopped portobella mushrooms
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 Tbsp dry breadcrumbs
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan or asiago cheese
DLM Marinara sauce (optional)

Combine all ingredients, except marinara sauce, in a bowl and mix thoroughly but gently. Shape into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Grill to the internal temperature of 160°F (about 5 minutes per side).

Remove from heat and top with marinara sauce, if desired. Serve on hamburger buns.
