Dijon Mustard Vinaigrette
best-quality ingredients make the best salad dressing. Toss room temperature vinaigrette with salad greens just before serving; use sparingly. Store unused vinaigrette tightly covered in the refrigerator.
|1 clove garlic, finely minced|
|1/2 tsp kosher salt|
|1 tsp Dijon mustard|
|3 Tbsp Aunt Vera's Italian Red Wine Vinegar|
|9 Tbsp Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil|
|Freshly ground black pepper (optional), to taste|
Mash garlic and salt together in a small bowl. Add mustard and vinegar; whisk to blend. Add olive oil slowly, whisking to emulsify. If desired, add pepper.
