Hot Cranberry Punch
|1/3 cup brown sugar, packed tightly|
|1/2 cup water|
|1/4 tsp ground cloves|
|1/4 tsp ground allspice|
|1/4 tsp cinnamon|
|1/2 tsp nutmeg|
|Pinch of salt|
|1 quart cranberry juice cocktail|
|2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice|
Combine brown sugar, water, spices, and salt. Bring to a boil. Add cranberry and pineapple juices; return to a boil.
This punch can be served immediately, kept warm on simmer, or reheated to serve later.
