A sensational, easy-to-fix appetizer!
|1/2 cup water|
|1/2 cup soy sauce|
|1/2 cup white sugar|
|2 Tbsp pineapple juice|
|2 Tbsp vegetable oil|
|3 large cloves garlic, finely minced|
|1 Tbsp finely minced fresh ginger root|
|2 lbs DLM Chicken Drummettes (20 to 24 pieces)|
Combine all ingredients. Marinate in the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours in a food storage bag or in a covered dish.
Remove drummettes from marinade and place on a rack in a foil-lined pan. Bake, uncovered, in a 350°F oven for 50 minutes, basting twice with marinade.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
