Serve this as an accompaniment to any Italian or plain meat entrée.
|1/2 cup unsalted butter|
|1/4 lb freshly grated Parmesan cheese|
|1 cup heavy cream|
|Freshly ground pepper, to taste|
|1 lb fettuccine, cooked al dente|
Melt butter over low heat. Stir in grated cheese and cream. Add pepper to taste. Toss with well-drained fettucine and serve immediately. Makes 8 servings
