Crunchy Pecan Wild Rice
This wild rice dish, crunchy with pecans, is a harmonious addition to any meal. Make it the day before, then warm in the microwave — very convenient!
|4 cups cooked wild rice (about 1 cup uncooked)|
|1 onion, finely chopped|
|1 cup chopped pecans|
|4 Tbsp unsalted butter|
|1 tsp seasoned salt|
|3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley|
Prepare wild rice according to basic package directions. Sauté onion and pecans in butter; sprinkle with seasoned salt. Stir in the wild rice, and cook until heated throughout. Adjust seasoning. Sprinkle with parsley.
