Pear Chutney

Serve juicy, all-natural duBreton Pork Chops with this pear chutney, accented with Cavalli Balsamic Seasoning and a touch of jalapeño pepper. An easy fall treat!

2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
½ to 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
2 Bartlett pears, peeled and chopped
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp Cavalli Balsamic Seasoning
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add sugar, onion, and jalapeño pepper; sauté 5-6 minutes or until mixture is caramel colored. Add pears and remaining ingredients; reduce heat and simmer 6-8 minutes. Makes 1½ cups
