Garlic Broccoli and Pasta

1/3 lb farfalle pasta (bow-tie)
4 cups broccoli florets
1/4 cup Parmesan, Romano, or Trentingrana cheese, shredded
1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 Tbsp lemon zest
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Cook pasta according to directions. Drain well, place in a large bowl or casserole dish, and keep warm. Steam broccoli florets for 3 minutes, drain and add to pasta. Top pasta mixture with cheese and pine nuts. In a small saucepan, heat the butter and oil. Add garlic and lemon zest to the pan and cook for one minute over medium-low heat. Turn off the heat, add salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and pour over pasta-broccoli mixture. Toss well and season to taste.
