Applesauce Cupcakes

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup honey
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup seedless raisins
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
Cream Cheese Frosting

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cupcake pans with paper liners.

Stir flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and salt into medium mixing bowl. Measure the butter into a large mixing bowl; beat with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add honey. Mix well.

Add half the applesauce and half the sifted dry ingredients to the honey and butter mixture; mix at medium speed. Add remaining applesauce and dry ingredients. Mix again. Stir in raisins and walnuts.

Spoon batter into cupcake pans, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Allow cupcakes to cool in pans. After ten minutes, remove from pans and cool completely. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
