Lemon and Blueberry Shortcakes

4 cups fresh blueberries
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
4 Vera Jane's Shortcakes
8 Tbsp lemon curd
Whipped cream, for serving

Combine the first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook 3 minutes or until berries begin to pop, stirring frequently. Set aside and let cool.

Split open the shortcakes and spread 2 Tbsp of lemon curd on bottom pieces. Generously spoon on some of the warm blueberries, whipped cream, and top with shortcake.
