Local Strawberry Salad with Pecans
|8 cups lettuce (a combination of romaine, red leaf, and arugula)|
|2 cups strawberries, sliced|
|1/4 cup red onion, chopped|
|2 Tbsp feta cheese, crumbled|
|2 Tbsp pecan pieces, toasted|
|1/3 cup DLM Oregon Strawberry Preserves|
|2 Tbsp Aunt Vera's Italian Red Wine Vinegar|
|1 Tbsp DLM Classic Dijon Mustard|
|Salt and peper to taste|
Wash greens and tear into bite-sized pieces. Place greens in a large salad bowl and add the strawberries, red onion, feta, and pecan pieces. Set aside.
Whisk together the remaining ingredients until blended and season to taste with the salt and pepper. Drizzle over salad and toss to combine.
