Cheese Puff Cups with Fig Preserves
|6 oz cream cheese, softened|
|2 Tbsp onion, minced|
|2 egg yolks, slightly beaten|
|Dash of DLM Cayenne Pepper|
|2 boxes Athens Mini Fillo Shells (15 shells per box)|
|2 Tbsp fig preserves (approximately)|
Combine cream cheese, onion, eggs, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Spoon mixture into fillo shells (about 2/3 full). Top with a 1/4 tsp of fig preserves.
Return to plastic tray, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove frozen cups from the plastic tray and place on a cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes or until bubbly.
