Parmesan Fish Fillets

2/3 cup Parmesan cheese, preferably freshly grated
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika (optional)
1/4 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 lbs skinless fish fillets, 1 1/4" thick (such as catfish, cod, or tilapia)
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup sliced almonds

Combine Parmesan cheese, flour, salt, pepper and optional paprika in a shallow dish. Combine milk and eggs in another shallow dish. Dip fresh fish into milk/egg mixture, then dredge in cheese/flour mixture. Place fillets in a lightly greased baking dish. Drizzle fillets with butter, and sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until fish flakes and is cooked throughout.
