Melon and Blueberry Fruit Salad in Rum Lime Sauce Gluten Free

1/4 large watermelon
1/2 cantaloupe
1/2 honeydew melon
1 pint fresh blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
4 limes (1 tsp lime rind and 4 Tbsp lime juice)
1/2 cup rum
Fresh mint, for garnish

Cut the watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon in bite-size pieces. Add the melon mixture and blueberries in a large bowl. In a small saucepan, mix the sugar with the water and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the lime rind and let cool to room temperature. Stir in the lime juice and rum. Pour the sauce over the melon and blueberries, chill covered for several hours. Garnish with extra limes and mint.
