Fruity Spiced Cranberry Sauce

1½ cups pomegranate or pomegranate cherry juice
1 cup dried cherries
1/4 cup candied orange peel, finely chopped
12 oz fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 clove or 1/4 tsp DLM Ground Cloves
1/2 tsp DLM Thyme

Bring juice to a simmer in a saucepan. Add cherries and orange peel and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Mix in cranberries, sugar, ginger, cloves, and thyme. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst, about 10 minutes. Refrigerate.
