Baked Penne with Fresh Mozzarella
|1 lb dried penne pasta|
|2 jars Jamie Oliver Spicy Olive, Garlic, and Tomato Pasta Sauce|
|8 oz DLM Fresh Mozzarella, cut into small dice|
|Freshly ground black pepper|
|Fresh basil, chopped for garnish|
Preheat oven to 350°F. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, salt generously, and boil the pasta until al dente, tender but still slightly firm. Drain.
In a large bowl, toss the pasta with the sauce and the diced mozzarella. Transfer the pasta to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake in the oven until lightly browned and hot, about 20 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh basil. Serve immediately. Yields about 3½ cups.
