Fried Bananas with Caramel
|2 Tbsp unsalted butter|
|4 firm bananas, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces|
|1/2 tsp sea salt|
|1/4 tsp DLM Cinnamon|
|1/4 cup caramel sauce (or dulce de leche)|
|1/4 cup salted, roasted Macadamia nuts, chopped (optional)|
Heat butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Place banana pieces, cut side down, in the pan and cook until
golden brown (about 1 to 2 minutes). Using tongs, turn banana pieces over and sprinkle with sea salt and cinnamon.
Continue to cook until second side is golden brown. Remove from heat and place bananas on a platter or in a bowl
and cover with caramel sauce and Macadamia nuts and serve. Delicious served over vanilla ice cream, waffles, or pancakes.
