Sautéed Apples

2 Tbsp unsalted butter
6 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in the apples. Cover until the apples steam. Sprinkle with sugar and salt. Cook uncovered over low heat until apples are tender. Add additional butter, if desired.
