1 bunch asparagus, rinsed and trimmed
2-3 Tbsp Vera Jane's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp finely grated lemon zest
Steam asparagus for 3 to 4 minutes until just tender. Drain asparagus and arrange on a platter. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Also excellent grilled until tender and topped with olive oil and seasonings.
