Death By Chocolate
A recipe by Karen Christian who insists,"You can't go wrong with chocolate!"
1 pkg fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup Kahlúa
2 boxes Nestlé European-Style Mousse Mix
1 1/3 cups milk
4 Heath bars (or Skor bars), frozen, or 1 pkg Heath bits
(1) 12-oz Cool Whip, regular or chocolate
Follow directions for mixing the brownie mix and fold in chocolate chips. Bake. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Using a fork, pierce holes on the top of the brownies; drizzle Kahlúa over the top. Cut brownies into small squares.
Combine mousse mix with milk, and prepare following directions on the package.
Crush 4 Heath bars, reserving 1/4 cup for topping. (or add one package of Heath bits)
Using a glass bowl or individual glass dishes, layer pieces of brownies, mousse mix, candy bars or bits, and Cool Whip. Repeat for several layers. Top with Cool Whip and the reserved candy. Chill overnight and enjoy! Makes 12 to 16 servings
