Queen's Ribs

9 Queen's duBreton Natural Pork Ribs (about 2 lbs)
Basting Sauce for Ribs:
3 tsp brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 clove fresh garlic, minced
1/2 tsp DLM Mustard
3 Tbsp ketchup
Dash of lemon juice

To prepare basting sauce: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

To roast in the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the ribs in a shallow baking pan, and bake for 35 minutes per 1/2 to 3/4" thickness. Turn the ribs halfway through for even browning. Glaze the ribs with the sauce the first time they are turned and again about 5 minutes before you take them out of the oven. They will feel firm to the touch when done.

To barbecue on a charcoal or gas grill: Preheat the gas grill until it is hot, about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the coals in a charcoal grill are gray. Arrange the ribs on the grill. Sear over hot coals. Move the ribs away from the heat, and cook them indirectly for an additional 20 to 25 minutes per 1/2 to 3/4" of thickness. Baste with sauce the last 10 minutes, turning 2 or 3 times for even browning. The ribs should be cooked through but still juicy when done. Serve immediately.

Hint: For ease of serving, the ribs may be cut into individual ribs before cooking.
