Broccoli Slaw

A tasty, colorful, and easy-to-prepare summer salad: favorite recipe of Sandi Dooley, a loyal DLM shopper.

Ingredients:

  • (1) 12-oz pkg broccoli slaw
  • 4 oz dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet onion, red onion, or scallions
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic or more, to taste
  • 1/4 cup Marzetti slaw dressing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped

Directions:

Combine slaw, cranberries, onion, and garlic. Before serving, add the Marzetti dressing and the salt and pepper. Top with peanuts.

Makes 6 servings

Per serving: 217 calories (47% calories from fat); 12g total fat; 2g saturated fat; 9mg cholesterol; 208mg sodium; 25g total carbohydrates; 5g protein
