Pear Chutney

Serve juicy all-natural du Breton Pork Chops with this pear
chutney, accented with Cavalli Balsamic Seasoning and a touch of jalapeño
pepper. An easy fall treat!
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1/2 to 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 Bartlett pears, peeled and chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp Cavalli Balsamic Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Directions:
Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add sugar, onion, and jalapeño
pepper; sauté 5-6 minutes or until mixture is caramel-colored. Add pears
and remaining ingredients; reduce heat and simmer 6-8 minutes.
Makes 1½ cups
