Whipped Cream (Crème Chantilly)

Ingredients:
- 1 cup whipping cream, chilled
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat the cream until it mounds slightly.
Add sugar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form. Overbeating will cause
the whipping cream to turn to butter.
Cinnamon or liqueurs, such as Grand Marnier or Framboise, may be added for
a more complex flavor.
Makes about 2 cups
