Mushroom Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Coleman Natural Beef™ ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1˝ cups finely chopped portobella mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 Tbsp dry breadcrumbs
  • Marinara sauce (optional)
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 2 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan or asiago cheese

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and mix thoroughly but gently. Shape into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Grill to the internal temperature of 160° F (about 5 minutes per side). Serve on hamburger buns topped with 2 tablespoons marinara sauce, if desired.
