Mexican Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Coleman Natural Beef™ ground chuck
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup seeded and chopped plum tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chipotle chili powder
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • 2 tsp seeded and minced jalapeño pepper

Directions:

Combine the above ingredients and mix lightly. Shape into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Grill to the internal temperature of 160° F (about 5 minutes per side). Serve in hamburger buns with grilled sweet onions, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream, if desired.
